Praticamente is a manual designed for adults and young adults who are beginners (pre-A1) and want to learn the basics of Italian in a quick, practical, and engaging way. Based on a communicative approach, the manual is particularly suitable for English speakers or those who want support in a language other than Italian, thanks to the exercises and grammatical explanations that are also translated into English. It can also be used as a preparatory course for any Italian language manual. The volume consists of seven units, each organized into four sections: • The In classe section contains teaching activities that address new vocabulary and new linguistic and grammatical structures, as well as audio tracks accessible via QR code. • The In sintesi section contains a brief recap of the communicative functions and vocabulary, also translated into English, and summary tables relating to the grammatical structures covered in the unit. • The A casa section contains exercises to reinforce the lesson content, including a wide range of vocabulary and grammar exercises. • The Pillole di cultura section, accessible via QR codes at the end of the book or in the Supplement in the e-book version, offers short readings in English on aspects of Italian culture related to the topic of the units.
